A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a 128-bit value, usually written as 32 hex digits split into five groups, designed so that two independently generated UUIDs are virtually guaranteed never to collide - no central registry required.
They are commonly used as database primary keys, request IDs for tracing, and session identifiers. Generate some with our UUID Generator.
